Dr Jill Murray CA is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience across pensions, investments and financial services. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles with BlackRock, BNP Paribas and Standard Life, developing extensive expertise in investment operations, financial reporting, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement. Jill is currently Pension, Investments and Accounting Manager at Scottish Borders Council, where she is responsible for the strategic oversight, governance and financial management of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Fund. She leads pension fund governance, investment oversight and financial reporting, working closely with advisers, actuaries, asset managers and elected members to support informed decision-making, strong governance and the long-term sustainability of the Fund.
