Mariam Mahmood has held roles across local, Scottish and UK governments throughout her career, developing expertise in policy development and project delivery. In her current role as a Team Leader in the Scottish Government’s Investment Unit, she seeks to engage across the public and private sector to provide the clarity, consistency and confidence needed to attract more investment into Scotland.

Prior to the formation of the Investment Unit, Mariam worked on the Scottish Government’s Private Investment in Natural Capital Programme.
